What happened
A home camera caught it: an eight-pound pomsky spotted a huge black bear pacing along her backyard fence.
She did not hide. She did not wait for backup. She charged onto the deck and barked until the bear lost its footing, jumped off the fence, swam across the river and went back to the forest. She was unharmed.
Small dog. Big rules. Not in my yard.
